Growing up just 20 minutes away in Gwinnett County, Zachary was immersed in the world of engines from an early age. Inspired by his father, an engineer by trade, he developed a natural love for anything with a motor. There wasn’t one defining moment- just decades of learning, observing, and surrounding himself with cars. That passion eventually turned into a career and the opportunity to take over an existing AAMCO location from a retiring franchisee in 2019, changing the trajectory of his family’s future.

While he may not claim formal certifications, Zachary takes pride in his deep understanding of vehicle diagnostics, problem analysis, and repair solutions. Whether it’s complex transmission repair, engine repair, brake service, or advanced diagnostics, he and his team focus on delivering honest, accurate car care in Decatur. One of his most memorable projects? A Hellcat engine swap into a 2007 Charger R/T- a true testament to his technical skill!

As a follower of Christ and member of Cornerstone Bible Church, Zachary believes honesty and transparency are non-negotiable- especially in business. He builds trust by treating every customer with respect, clear communication, and straightforward recommendations.


When he’s not at the shop, you’ll find him spending time with family, riding motorcycles, or enjoying great food. From his first $400 Ford Escape in high school to owning AAMCO Decatur, Zachary understands what vehicles mean to people- freedom, reliability, and peace of mind.
